Why we answer by phone only
A plumbing problem changes by the minute. A drip becomes a stream, and a slow drain becomes a backup. A message that sits in an inbox overnight cannot tell you where the main shutoff is, but a person on the phone can.
Talking also lets the dispatcher ask follow-up questions that no online page would think of. Is the water clear or brown? Does the smell come from one drain or all of them? Those answers shape what the plumber brings to your door.
If a call drops, call back. For an active leak, shut off the water at the main valve first, then try again.
What to have ready when you call
A minute of preparation saves a lot of back-and-forth. Gather what you can, but never delay a call for an emergency just to collect everything.
- Your address, including the ZIP code (32707, 32718 or 32730 in Casselberry).
- A callback number that works if the call drops.
- The location of your main water shutoff, and whether you already closed it.
- A few photos of the leak, the fixture, the water heater label or the wet area.
- A simple timeline of the symptom, such as when you first noticed it and whether it is getting worse.
- What changed recently, such as a new appliance, a heavy rain or work done by someone else.
- Whether water is near outlets, a panel or the ceiling light fixtures.
Finding your main water shutoff
Every home has one, and every homeowner should know where it is before a pipe splits.
- Look near the water meter at the street or at the point where the line enters the house. Many shutoffs are a round handle (gate valve) or a lever (ball valve).
- Turn a round handle clockwise until it stops. Turn a lever a quarter turn so it sits crosswise to the pipe.
- Open a faucet at the lowest point in the house to confirm the flow stops.
- If the valve is stuck or leaks around the handle, do not force it. Tell the dispatcher, because that valve may need replacement.
- Take a photo of the valve so a plumber can see its type before arriving.
Photos and symptom timelines help the plumber
A photo of a water heater label shows the tank size and age. A photo of a wet ceiling shows the stain pattern, which helps separate a supply leak from a drain leak. Even a short video of a toilet refilling can tell us which part has failed.
The timeline matters just as much. A leak that began after a storm points one direction. A meter that has been creeping for weeks points another. Watch your water bill and meter, because a rising bill with no change in use is a classic sign of a hidden leak.
You do not need technical words. Describe what you see, hear and smell, and we will translate.
If you have an emergency right now
Do these while you dial or while the dispatcher is on the line.
- Close the main water shutoff.
- Turn off power to wet rooms at the breaker if you can reach it dry.
- Open a low faucet to relieve pressure.
- Move belongings out of the water's path.
- Photograph the damage for your insurer before cleanup begins.
About our office
The office at 1211 Semoran Blvd handles dispatch and paperwork. It is not a showroom, and plumbers do the work at your property, so please call before driving over. Semoran Boulevard is SR 436, the city's main east-west commercial corridor.
City offices are a separate matter. The City of Casselberry Building Division and Utilities Department are at 95 Triplet Lake Drive, open Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. If you are asking whether a job needs a permit, that is the right place. Permit rules vary, so ask the Casselberry Building Division directly.
What happens after you call
After the call, a licensed plumber is assigned, and a same-day appointment is offered when one is available. We do not promise an arrival time, but the dispatcher tells you what to expect and what to do in the meantime.
On site, the plumber diagnoses the problem and gives you a clear price before work starts. After the repair, a pressure check or flow test confirms it holds. For the full walkthrough, read the about page, or browse the services we offer.
Are we the right company for your address?
We serve Casselberry first, then Longwood, Fern Park, Oviedo and Winter Park. The service area page lists the ZIP codes for each.
If your address sits near a boundary, call and ask. It takes less time than guessing.
